As I’m working on the Reclaiming The Wise Woman Elder – for the healing of Earth summit, I’m seesawing in between excitement and feeling like I’m fulfilling a big part of my mission – and feeling completely inadequate, overwhelmed, and hearing that voice that says, “Who am I to think I can do something this big?”
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with my mind racing. Sometimes I get a lot done. Sometimes I get nothing done, and let myself get drawn down the rabbit hole of the internet.
This being human thing – it’s not always easy, is it?
Okay, I remind myself. Time to remember all the tools you’ve learned. Get regular meditations back into the schedule. Get outside and talk to the trees. Use your essential oils to get back to sleep. Let go of perfectionism. (Perfect ain’t gonna happen anyway.) Do a SoulCollage® reading. Do an inner parts dialogue.
So, I did an inner parts dialogue with my SoulCollage® cards – 2 for 1! I pulled one card to represent the “I can’t do this and I hate schedules & lists” part, and another for the “on a big mission waking up in the night in a panic” part. Then I was prompted to draw a third, which was about money.
(Below is the card representing the “I can’t do this” part – its name is The Magic of Books. I spent a lot of my childhood with my nose in a book, and I still read a lot.)
As I asked the cards what they needed from each other, and how they could harmonize and work together, I was called to draw another card. This turned out to be a protector for the “I can’t do this” part, who wants to stay safe. With the protector, she felt safe, and was willing to allow the other cards to help me move forward.
The card representing “on a big mission” reminded me of my BIG WHY I’m doing this summit, and re-inspired me.
The money card brought money into the conversation, so I can continue to be aware of generating income while producing the summit.
Then, I got to interview my keynote speaker, Riane Eisler. She was completely inspiring, and helped me reconnect with how valuable this summit will be.
