I hear it all the time – spiritually oriented people talking about raising their “frequency” or their “vibration?” Do you?
BUT – it’s totally inaccurate. I believe that using the words “frequency” and “vibration” in the singular prevents you from expanding your consciousness in the ways you’re seeking. Not only are they not accurate, but they limit your understanding of what is going on in your consciousness and your energy fields. That blocks you from moving forward.
There are no pure tones in nature. A pure tone consists of only one frequency. Tones are more like musical chords, containing multiple frequencies at once. We can’t raise our “frequency” or our “vibration” – we are always working with frequencIES and vibrationS – PLURAL.
When you play a note on any instrument (including the voice), it is always composed of the base frequency AND higher overtones that sound in a consistent mathematical progression above the base frequency.
The overtone sequence actually corresponds to sacred geometry.
As we raise our consciousness, we open the doors to perceiving more subtle information. You can gain SO much richness by opening the doors to perceiving the overtones, and other frequencies that carry information.
Everything is vibration. Everything vibrates.
It’s easier for us to perceive the vibrations/sounds that our ears can hear. Nature has many more frequencies that we can’t hear. We can FEEL many of them, and train ourselves to perceive them in other ways.
As you train and develop your ability to perceive more frequencies, you’ll receive the important information they hold for the healing of humanity and our planet.
Elephants and whales use sounds below what our ears can hear, and so does Mother Gaia – so don’t just focus on “higher” frequencies.
Training your perception of the multiple frequencies and vibrations that are in your own energy fields and all around you, means you have to open gates of perception that you’ve closed.
Most of us don’t hear the overtones ringing with the base frequency of a musical note. We’ve trained our brains NOT to pay attention to them. Highly trained musicians do. They’ve opened that gate of perception, and paid attention to the group of higher frequencies that make up the overtone series.
You’ve also trained your brain not to hear your own voice accurately. Part of the work I do with clients is to open the gates of perception about your own voice, so you can use the process of opening your speaking voice as a path of transformation and spiritual integration.
Everything is vibration, and your voice is your very own instrument of vibrational healing, for yourself and others. And no, I’m not talking about singing. I’m talking about your SPEAKING voice.
When you heal your soul’s voice, your voice takes on greater richness and fullness. You express your whole authentic self – human and divine. This means your voice actually contains more frequencies – which vibrate you and your energy fields, and they vibrate others’ bodies and energy fields.
So, can I get your agreement to stop using “frequency” and “vibration” in the singular when talking about chakras, energy fields, personal growth, higher consciousness, planetary healing, etc?
We’ll all progress much faster in opening our perceptions as individuals and as a collective. Then we can create the change we need faster, too.
Blessings
PS – My Healing Your Soul’s Voice Meditation can help you in talking about the difficult stuff.
If you already have it – USE IT!
“After listening to the meditation I felt so calm and relaxed. I loved it. I could feel the frequencies going through my body and I felt as though something shifted in my throat chakra. It’s always that area that needs a boost. I also felt like there was a weight taken off my shoulders. I felt totally at peace when it finished and plan to make it part of my regular practice. Thank you Ariana. It’s a wonderful experience!” -Su Davey
